These Terms and Conditions govern your use of grief support services provided by Veena Patel, trading as A Safe Space with Veena. By booking a session or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
2. Services Provided
A Safe Space with Veena offers grief support sessions as a Certified Grief Support Practitioner. These sessions are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your GP or an appropriate emergency service. Sessions are available online and in person, and can be conducted in English or Gujarati.
3. Fees & Payment
Current session fees are as follows:
Free Discovery Call — 20 minutes, no charge
One-to-One Session — 45 minutes · £50 per session
Session Package — 4 to 6 sessions · £45 per session
Payment is made in full prior to each session via the booking portal at the time of booking. No session will be confirmed until payment has been received.
4. Cancellation Policy
More than 48 hours notice — Full refund or session rescheduled at no charge
24 to 48 hours notice — 50% of the session fee will be charged
Less than 24 hours notice — The full session fee is payable
No show / Did not attend — The full session fee is payable
Cancellations must be made by contacting Veena directly via WhatsApp or email. We will always try to accommodate genuine emergencies with compassion and flexibility.
5. Refund Policy
Refunds for individual sessions are issued in line with the cancellation policy above. For session packages, any unused sessions may be refunded at the package rate provided a minimum of 48 hours notice is given. Packages are non-transferable. If Veena needs to cancel a session for any reason, a full refund or complimentary rescheduled session will be offered.
6. Confidentiality
All sessions and communications are treated with the utmost confidentiality. Information shared will not be disclosed to any third party without your explicit consent, except where there is a legal obligation to do so.
