A Safe Space with Veena offers grief support coaching sessions provided by Veena Patel, a Certified Grief Support Practitioner. Sessions are offered online and in person in London, and are available in English and Gujarati. These sessions are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.
Grief support coaching is a non-clinical, non-therapeutic service. Veena Patel does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any mental health condition. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require clinical support, you are encouraged to contact a qualified mental health professional or emergency services.
Bookings are made via the online booking system. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session. Payment confirms your agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
You may cancel or reschedule your session with at least 48 hours' notice and receive a full refund or reschedule at no charge. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will not be eligible for a refund. In the event that Veena needs to cancel a session, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative appointment.
Everything shared within a session is treated with the strictest confidence. Confidentiality will only be broken in circumstances where there is a serious risk of harm to you or to another person, in accordance with professional and legal obligations.
Your personal data is collected and held in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Data is used solely to provide and administer your sessions and will never be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
Session packages are non-transferable and non-refundable once sessions have commenced. Unused sessions within a package may be rescheduled subject to availability. Packages must be used within six months of purchase.
For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a private, comfortable space. Sessions will not be extended due to technical difficulties on the client's side. If technical difficulties arise on Veena's side, the session will be rescheduled or the time will be made up.
Veena Patel and A Safe Space with Veena shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from the use of this service beyond the fees paid for the session(s) in question.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We may collect your name, email address, and any information you voluntarily share during sessions or via our contact and booking forms. We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are handled by secure third-party processors.
Your information is used to provide and administer your sessions, respond to your enquiries, and — where you have given consent — send you occasional updates and resources from A Safe Space with Veena. Your details will never be sold or shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.

This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the website to function.
Session notes and client records are retained for a period of five years following the end of our working relationship, in accordance with professional guidance. Marketing consent and email addresses are held until you withdraw consent.
When you download a free book from our Healing Chapters page, we ask for your name and email address. We collect this to send you the book and, if you have opted in, to send you occasional gentle updates, grief support resources and news from A Safe Space with Veena.
The legal basis for processing your data is your consent, given at the point of download or enquiry. You can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing from our emails or contacting us directly.
